1976
Andover Coated Products is founded in Andover, MA and begins manufacturing athletic tapes coated with adhesive (hence the name).
1982
Having experienced rapid growth in its early years, Andover moves to a larger facility in Marblehead, MA.
1989
Andover expands beyond adhesive tapes by introducing CoFlex, a cohesive flexible bandage.
1990
As the company continues to grow, Andover moves once again to Salisbury, MA.
1995
Andover introduces a bandage three times stronger called PowerFlex, which provides 23 lbs. of tensile strength for athletes and tears clean off the roll, no scissors needed.
1998
After five years in development, Andover introduces a latex-free version of its popular CoFlex product, CoFlex NL. This latex-free bandage provides the same consistent compression as the original CoFlex, but is manufactured without natural rubber latex and tears by hand.
2001
Andover introduces CoFlex Med and PetFlex.
2002
Andover enters the European Football market with PowerFlex and launches AndoverFootball.com to provide product information in multiple languages. Andover also introduces the PowerFlex Practitioner's Pack to meet the needs of the equine practitioner.
2003
Andover revamps its corporate website with new features, updated information, and a new look.
2004
Andover introduces Latex-free CoFlex NL Kid's Pack and CoFlex NL Pink Ribbons.
2005
Andover introduces the PetFlex PetPack.
2006
Name changes to Andover Healthcare, Inc. to better reflect product offerings.
